Angie Harmon was an American model/actress who appeared in many films and series. The model started out as a model, but when she received international recognition, she decided to try acting. She began her acting career with the tv show "Baywatch Nights" from 1995. Her voice has been used in a film adaptation of 'Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker.' At the beginning of 2000, Harmon chose to focus solely on film and stopped acting in television series. After having appeared in a few films, she went back to acting in TV series. She was among of the only actresses to pose discreetly nude in a magazine called 'Allure.' Her main work is in the role of the detective Jane Rizzoli on TNT series 'Rizzoli & Isles'. Her award was for her work as Detective Jane Rizzoli on the TNT series. Angie Harmon's work has received numerous nominations throughout the years. She has also won some distinctions.
